Advisory Committee for Updating Tokyo Liquefaction Potential Map

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government published “Liquefaction Potential Map in Tokyo Lowland” in March 1987 and has since been working to publish it on its website while expanding its scope to include the Tama region and port areas.This time of the revised edition incorporates data uesd in the revised 2022 edition and updates the prediction map based on newly obtained latest ground area.
In updating the liquefaction potential map, we established an “Advisory Committee for Updating Liquefaction Potential Map of Tokyo” consisting of experts in liquefaction and geotechnical engineering as well as received expert advice from the committee members.
